Location: Middlesbrough

Contract: Temporary - 6/8 weeks

Salary/Rate: £250 per day CIS

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Site Manager to work on school refurbishments during the summer holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Oversee all site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Health & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, conducting regular safety briefings and risk assessments.
Team Leadership: Manage and motivate site staff, subcontractors, and trade teams.
Programme Delivery: Drive the project programme, effectively managing resources and resolving any on-site issues to meet deadlines.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure a high standard of finish.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, surveyors, and other key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on relevant construction projects - school refurbishments.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and relevant building regulations.
