Project Manager

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of critical engineering programmes across design, manufacturing, testing, and launch operations.

The Role
Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and senior leadership teams, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while managing risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations.
Monitor project performance and report progress against key milestones.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Facilitate project reviews and stakeholder meetings.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and project governance activities.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standards.
About You
Proven experience managing complex engineering or technical projects.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, automotive, energy, or another highly regulated industry.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
Experience within the space sector or launch vehicle programmes.
Knowledge of product development or systems engineering lifecycles.
PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or similar project management qualification.
Experience managing hardware development projects.
