KS1 Teaching Assistant - M16
We are working in partnership with large and thriving community primary school in the m16 area that are seeking a dedicated KS1 TA to join their team from September 2026.
Located in the heart of M16, this large and welcoming primary school serves a richly diverse community. This mainstream school has a high proportion of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and a strong commitment to inclusive practice. This role plays a vital role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Working closely with colleagues, families and the wider community, you will help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally while fostering a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the Primary curriculum
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
Promote positive behaviour through consistent and nurturing strategies
Contribute to school-wide activities and community lifeThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working in primary school
Have strong behaviour management skills
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Thrive within a collaborative team environmentRequirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
