Computing Teacher – Secondary School (Spalding)
Location: Spalding
Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS, depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: One Day per Week (Mondays Only) | Fixed-Term for the Academic Year
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computing Teacher to join a secondary school in Spalding from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a part-time teaching position, working Mondays only throughout the academic year.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Computing lessons, helping students develop essential digital literacy, programming, and problem-solving skills in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach key areas of the Computing curriculum, including programming, digital systems, and online safety
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Encourage student engagement and enthusiasm for technology
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Computing or ICT in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A passion for technology and digital learning
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
