Immediate Start
£45k - £50k Annual
Full-Time
Ignis Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established franchise backed community complex care provider across the Bristol and Bath area.

This is a strong opportunity for a hands on Operations Manager, Area Manager, Branch Manager, Registered Manager or experienced Senior Care Manager who wants more than a maintenance role.

The service is part of a recognised national care brand, but the local branch is still at a stage where the right person can make a visible impact. The Director is looking for someone who can bring structure, pace and operational confidence into the business as it continues to grow across Bristol and Bath.

This is the type of role where your work will be seen.

You will not just be holding a title or sitting in an office reacting to problems. You will be helping shape how the service runs, how staff are supported, how packages are mobilised and how the business builds a stronger operating model for the future.

The Role

You will support the day to day operational management of community based complex care services, ensuring safe, compliant and person centred care delivery.

This role needs someone who understands the reality of care operations: complex packages, carers, rotas, HR, quality, care planning, safeguarding, mobilisation, families, commissioners, private clients and the pressure of keeping a growing service stable day to day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the operational running of complex care and community based packages
• Supporting carers, coordinators, office staff and field staff
• Helping manage HR issues, staff performance, recruitment, retention and team structure
• Supporting care planning, risk assessments, service user reviews and package mobilisation
• Managing safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents and medication issues properly from start to finish
• Supporting rota stability, on call arrangements, cover gaps and daily operational pressure
• Carrying out assessments, spot checks, supervisions and quality monitoring where required
• Maintaining CQC compliance and strong audit trails
• Building trust with service users, families, staff and external professionals
• Helping create stronger structure across the service
• Supporting business development, new packages and long term growth across Bristol and Bath

The Person

We are looking for someone who has strong experience in complex care, domiciliary care, home care, nurse led care, supported living or community care.

You do not need to be perfect on paper, but you must be reliable, practical and able to follow things through properly.

You should be able to show:

• Experience as an Operations Manager, Area Manager, Branch Manager, Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Senior Care Manager
• Strong understanding of community care operations
• Experience with complex care, nurse led care or higher acuity community packages would be highly relevant
• Confidence with care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding and quality assurance
• Experience supporting carers and managing day to day service issues
• HR awareness and confidence dealing with staff performance, conduct and structure
• Commercial awareness and interest in helping a provider grow
• Ability to deal with pressure calmly and professionally
• Strong communication with staff, families, professionals and service users
• Willingness to be visible in the office and field when needed
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

This role may suit someone who is already operating at Operations Manager, Area Manager or Branch Manager level, or a strong Registered Manager or Senior Care Manager who is ready to step into a wider operational role.

Package

• £45,000 to £50,000 basic salary
• Bristol and Bath based role
• Office presence expected around 3 days per week
• Progression and review potential linked to performance, stability and service growth
• Opportunity to work closely with the local Director
• Scope to shape the service rather than simply maintain it
• Long term opportunity for someone who wants ownership, influence and genuine operational responsibility

What The Client Needs

The client is looking for someone who can become a trusted operational lead within the business.

The right person will be caring, structured, commercially aware and strong enough to take responsibility for service delivery, staff management and growth support without everything needing to sit with senior leadership.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building, improving and taking ownership.

If you understand community complex care and want a role where your work genuinely impacts the growth, stability and quality of a provider, this is worth a conversation.
