The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for Asbestos Removal Operatives to join a growing and well-established asbestos removal contractor delivering projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a long-term career within a specialist industry, working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of commercial, industrial and domestic projects.
Whether you are already working within asbestos removal or looking to build on your existing experience, this role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression.
The Role
As an Asbestos Removal Operative, you will be responsible for the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials in accordance with current legislation, company procedures and health and safety standards.
Duties will include:
• Carrying out licensed asbestos removal works on a range of projects
• Working safely within controlled environments and enclosures
• Following site-specific risk assessments and method statements
• Using specialist equipment and PPE correctly
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Working effectively as part of a team on projects throughout the UK
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest professional standards
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you should hold:
• CSCS Card
• Licensed Asbestos Removal Training
• Face Fit Certificate and Medical
• Manual Handling Training
• Abrasive Wheels Training
• Working at Height Training
In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate:
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• Reliability and a positive work ethic
• The ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Flexibility to travel and work on projects nationwide when required
• Excellent attention to detail and professionalism
