Description

Oversee and coordinate the import and export of goods within the logistics department.
Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and standards.
Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation accurately.
Monitor and manage shipping schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities as needed.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Support cost management by negotiating with logistics providers and optimising processes.
Assist in resolving any issues or delays related to imports or exports.Profile

A successful Import and Export Officer should have:

A solid understanding of international trade and shipping regulations.
Experience in logistics, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in preparing and managing shipping documentation.
