Job Title: Financial Controller
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE
Package: Car Allowance, Pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health scheme, wfh opportunity
Hours: Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5.00pm
Position Type: Full Time & Permanent
Location: Hull
An exciting opportunity has risen for experienced Senior Finance candidates to join a large manufacturing client based in Hull who are hiring for a Financial Controller.
The role will manage a small finance function and be involved in a number of exciting projects coming up as well as provide opportunity to progress.
The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for the following:
* Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
* Generate, submit and present monthly management accounts.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
* Provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support decisionmaking.
* Budgeting, Costing & Financial Analysis
* Develop and maintain product costing models and cost analysis.
* Support business planning, forecasting and financial performance reviews.
* Compliance, Tax & Governance
* Maintain and administer Transfer Pricing policies.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations and internal controls.
* Support internal and external audit requirements.
* Team Leadership & Systems Management
* Supervise, develop and support the accounts team.
* Promote best practice financial processes and controls.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
* Support crossfunctional projects and business initiatives.
To be the successful Financial Controller you will have the following experience:
* Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts
* Manufacturing experience or working as a site accountant would be advantageous
* Experience of managing and developing a team
* Experience working in a hands on role as well as strategically
* CIMA qualification desirable
