Key Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver guided reading, phonics, and basic numeracy support to small pupil groups.

Provide crucial 1:1 assistance to specific pupils with special educational needs (SEND).

Support the lead teacher with administrative tasks, learning setups, and classroom displays.

Implement the school's positive behaviour policy, keeping children motivated and focused.

Help monitor and safeguard the well-being of pupils during indoor and outdoor activities.

Record student progress observations and report insights directly to the teaching team.

Requirements for the Role

Genuine experience working with or supporting children (schools, tutoring, sports coaching, nurseries).

A solid academic foundation with GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics.

A patient, proactive, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for one).

High adaptability and a passion for working within a collaborative educational team.
