SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, communication needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, and physical disabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support that enables students to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals.
Key responsibilities include supporting pupils in the classroom and during wider school activities, assisting with the implementation of individual education and support plans, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing, and helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential.
The role is based in Chelmsford and will suit candidates from the education sector with a clear interested in SEN and supporting students with additional needs
