Lynx Employment Services are recruiting for an experienced Estates & Investments Senior Surveyor to support a busy property and estates function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified property professional to lead on a diverse portfolio of commercial property, investment, asset management and regeneration projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising income, supporting property investment activity, delivering capital receipts and managing strategic property assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a commercial property portfolio, ensuring effective asset management and compliance.
• Deliver landlord and tenant services in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Maximise rental income and minimise expenditure across the property portfolio.
• Undertake complex property valuations and provide professional property advice.
• Lead negotiations relating to acquisitions, disposals, leases and property investments.
• Develop business cases and feasibility studies to support strategic property decisions.
• Manage tenant relationships and resolve property-related issues.
• Instruct and liaise with legal teams on property transactions and agreements.
• Oversee property repairs, maintenance and service charge arrangements.
• Support regeneration, development and investment projects.
• Monitor budgets and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, property and regulatory requirements.
• Work with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• RICS qualified (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – essential.
• Significant experience in commercial property management and landlord and tenant matters.
• Strong knowledge of property law, valuations and asset management.
• Experience managing acquisitions, disposals and property investment projects.
• Ability to develop business cases and provide strategic property advice.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
• Experience working within the public sector is desirable.
• Registered Valuer status is advantageous.
• Knowledge of property-related health and safety compliance is desirable.
Additional Information
• Hybrid working arrangement.
• Candidates will be required to attend the office approximately one day per week.
• Applicants must be able to undertake estate inspections, tenant meetings and site visits as required.
• Standard DBS check required.
