The Role and School

Are you an enthusiastic, bubbly and engaging individual ready for a new Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream setting within the Salford area? The role is to cover within Key Stage 2, Year 5 class until the end of the academic year July 27. The class size is around 21 children and has the support of a Class Teacher and another TA in class.

Key Responsibilities

Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support.
Be proactive in your approach building relationships from day 1.
Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in school for the class.
Supporting a class within the school, showing respect and care for each student in the class whilst also showing a good level of tolerance.
Requirements

Hold experience with children, young people or residential care background.
Have previous experience working within KS1 and KS2 classes.
Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
