Engineering Estimator

Salary: £35,000

An opportunity for an experienced Engineering Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for engineering, machining and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions.

Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.

Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.

Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Support project teams with accurate scopes and cost information.

Maintain estimating records and cost databases.

Skills & Experience

Previous estimating experience within engineering, machining or fabrication.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.

CAD experience desirable.

Benefits & Hours

£35,000 salary (depending on experience).

Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm.

Friday: 7:30am-2:30pm.

26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Health cash-back scheme.

3% employer pension contribution.
