About the Role
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging and relevant lessons that develop student's knowledge of business concepts, real-world case studies, and commercial awareness. You will help learners understand how businesses operate in a dynamic and global economy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship
Support GCSE and A-Level Business Studies / BTEC Business qualifications
Assess, track, and report on student progress
Use real-world examples and case studies to enhance learning
Contribute to curriculum development within the department
Support enrichment activities such as enterprise projects or business competitionsAbout You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, or related subject
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for business education
Ability to make lessons engaging and relevant to real-world contexts
Good classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student well being
Willingness to contribute to wider school and sixth form lifeWhat We Offer
