FLT / Warehouse Operative
Location: Stockport, SK4
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern
Rotating Days & Nights (Monday to Friday)
Days
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Nights
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00pm – 6:00am
* Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Night Shift Allowance: Plus £5.85 shift allowance per night shift worked.
Overtime: Paid after 37.5 hours worked per week.
Overtime Rates
* Saturday (OT1): £19.06 per hour
* Sunday (OT2): £25.42 per hour
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an FLT / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Stockport.
This is a 50/50 split role, with duties shared between operating a Forklift Truck and carrying out general warehouse tasks. The successful candidate must be flexible to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Moving stock throughout the warehouse
* Picking, packing and general warehouse duties
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Manual handling duties, including lifting bags of flour when required
Requirements
* Valid FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
* Previous warehouse experience desirable
* Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties
* Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
