Requirement: Must have a valid Manual Handling Certificate.
We are currently supporting a welcoming and inclusive all-girls secondary school in East London in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
The Role
Support students in lessons on a one-to-one, small group, and whole-class basis.
Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
Assist with intimate care where required.
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times.
Support students with mobility and physical needs where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting young people in an educational setting.
Confident carrying out general Teaching Assistant duties.
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
