About the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools and nurseries in Lancaster and the surrounding areas, starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey. You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–5.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
Assist with the development of communication, social, and motor skills
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
Support children with personal care where necessary

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
A caring, patient, and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for early years education

Qualifications

A Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification is desirable, but not essential for candidates with relevant experience
