Are you passionate about supporting young people who need it most? We are looking for a resilient, empathetic, and adaptable Student Support Worker to join a specialist provision working across multiple partnership sites.
This is not a typical classroom role. You will support students who may be experiencing trauma, medical needs, or social anxiety, helping them re-engage with education and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
Support students across a range of different learning environments and community settings
Help young people manage anxiety, emotional needs, and barriers to learning
Build trust with students who may struggle in traditional educational settings
Work collaboratively with staff and external partners
Monitor and record student progress and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
Full UK driving licence and access to a car - ESSENTIAL
Ability to travel between multiple sites during the working week
Experience supporting young people, particularly those with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs
Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach
Confidence supporting students with trauma, health needs, and social anxieties
Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently
Degree level qualification and experience working in education is preferred
Important Information
You will not be required to transport pupils
Travel allowance is paid
