Full-Time
A respected construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager with healthcare and education experience to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager who is confident working in live, stakeholder-heavy environments and wants to deliver meaningful public sector and community-focused projects.

The Project Manager will be supporting healthcare and education schemes across London, working closely with NHS trusts, schools, higher education providers, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who can manage project responsibilities with confidence, communicate clearly with clients, and keep programmes, risks, costs, and stakeholders under control. The successful Project Manager will be joining a professional consultancy environment with a strong pipeline of healthcare and education work.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of healthcare and education projects from early feasibility and planning stages through to construction, handover, and close out.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project programmes, coordinating design teams, supporting procurement, preparing reports, attending client meetings, chairing project meetings, tracking risks, and liaising with contractors and consultants.

The Project Manager will also assist with contract administration, stakeholder management, change control, and project governance, ensuring that each scheme is delivered to a high standard. Many projects may involve live operational environments, so the Project Manager must be organised, calm under pressure, and able to communicate effectively with multiple parties.

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Healthcare and education project experience
Experience working on live environment projects would be highly beneficial
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related subject

Good knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery processes
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities across complex projects
A professional, proactive, and client-facing approach

In Return?

£50,000 - £58,000
Pension contribution
Professional development support
APC support
Public sector and community-focused project work
Career progression within a respected consultancy
Supportive team environment
Long-term project pipeline across London
