Production Operative (Quality Inspection) – Automotive Manufacturing Location: Burnaston
Job Type: Temporary (3–6 months)
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour – 6:00am to 6:00pm
£15.89 per hour – 6:00pm to 6:00am Shifts: Rotating weekly
Day Shift: 6:15am – 2:15pm
Afternoon Shift: 3:15pm – 11:15pm About the Role Recruitable Staffing are recruiting for Production Operatives to work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment in Burnaston, supporting quality inspection and production activities.
This is a hands-on role involving visual inspection, physical checks, basic rework, and production line work. Full training will be provided, but you must have previous manufacturing experience (quality inspection experience is a strong advantage). The role involves regular bending, lifting, and manual handling, with parts weighing up to 15kg.
Duties Include
Visual and physical inspection of automotive parts
Carrying out basic rework tasks when required
Working on the production line
Recording inspection results accurately
Reporting defects and quality concerns to the team lead
Safe handling of parts up to 15kg
Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
Following site processes and health & safety procedures Requirements
Previous manufacturing experience is essential
Quality inspection experience is highly desirable
Comfortable with repetitive bending, lifting, and manual handling
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Able to work rotating weekly shifts
