The Opportunity
As an Associate Flood Risk Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of managing and delivering complex projects in flood risk management. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tackle challenges such as climate change and urbanization, ensuring sustainable solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage flood risk projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct hydraulic modelling using tools like InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, and HEC-RAS.
- Develop and oversee flood risk assessments and hydrological studies.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Engage in business development activities, including client and stakeholder engagement.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Geography, Science, or Civil Engineering; MSc or further qualifications preferred.
- Chartered status with CIWEM or ICE.
- Extensive experience in flood risk management and project delivery.
- Proficiency in GIS, hydraulic modelling, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
