Position: SEN Teacher
School: Primary School ARP
Location: Neasden, NW10
Start Date: September 2026
Provision: New ARP provision with numbers expected to grow throughout the year
About the Role
This is a really exciting opportunity for the right SEN Teacher to help shape the provision and develop it into a thriving, vibrant environment. You will be joining a new ARP unit that is in its early stages, giving you the chance to make a real impact from the ground up. The role involves working with children with additional needs within a specialist resource provision, supported by the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of children within the ARP
Create a nurturing and structured environment that supports pupils with additional needs
Help shape and develop the provision as it grows, contributing to its long-term vision
Assess, track and support pupil progress in line with EHCP outcomes
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure each child reaches their potential
Collaborate with the mainstream school to promote inclusion where appropriate
The School Is Looking For Someone Who
Is an experienced SEN Teacher with a strong understanding of additional needs or has experience teaching in an ARP or SEN setting
Is passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs
Has strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Is proactive, adaptable, and excited by the challenge of building a new provision
Works well as part of a team and is committed to making a lasting impact
