Project Manager

AMP8 Works - Northwest & Cumbria

Salary Range £65k – £75k depending on experience.

£15-20m Scheme starting in Liverpool in August.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities

* Hard working, dynamic with the ability to manage projects in the water sector

* Experience in reinforced concrete, shaft sinking & working in a united utilities environment.

* Defining project scopes, identifying technical requirements, and building robust, deliverable plans from ECI.

* Ability to manage the whole project lifecycle from design/ECI right through to commissioning

* Controlling costs, forecasting expenditures

* Managing teams & resources including the development of their teams.

* Managing contractual relationships—often utilizing frameworks like NEC4— variations and change management.

* Ensuring all work adheres strictly to UK water regulations (e.g., environmental permits), as well as health, safety, and environmental legislation

* Proactively identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks.

* Acting as the single point of contact between clients, contractors, regulatory bodies (like the Environment Agency or Ofwat), and local communities.

* Inspecting installations to verify they are completed to specification and comply with the latest industry best practices.

Additions to Salaries:

* 10% car allowance or company van/car.

* 3% 0- 6% pension contributions.

* Annual profit share bonus once 12 months are completed.

* 25 days’ annual leave including 7 at Christmas.

* 8 bank holidays.
