Our client, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, is looking to recruit an experienced Fabric Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial buildings, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Typical duties will include:
• Basic carpentry repairs and maintenance
• Minor plumbing works including tap repairs and pipework maintenance
• Painting and decorating
• Patch plastering and making good works
• Flooring repairs and maintenance
• Door, lock and ironmongery repairs
• Ceiling tile replacement
• General building fabric maintenance
• Supporting other engineering teams when required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Requirements
• Previous experience working as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Operative, Handyman or Multi-Skilled Technician
• Strong all-round building maintenance knowledge
• Experience within commercial facilities management environments preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
