A purpose-led and growing housing organisation is seeking a Company Secretary to support effective governance, regulatory compliance and board effectiveness across the business.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring strong governance arrangements, managing company secretarial responsibilities and supporting strategic decision-making. The position offers significant exposure to board-level stakeholders and the opportunity to influence governance practices within a complex and evolving organisation.
Responsibilities will include coordinating Board and Committee meetings, maintaining statutory records, overseeing governance frameworks, supporting regulatory compliance and providing governance advice to senior leaders and non-executive directors. You will also contribute to governance reviews, policy development and wider organisational assurance activities.
The successful candidate will have experience within company secretarial, governance or board support functions, together with a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory compliance. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate confidently at senior level are essential.
