A large-scale automated operation is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team at a highly automated site in Tamworth.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work on modern conveyor and sortation systems within a fast-paced environment that continues to invest heavily in equipment, controls upgrades and engineering improvements.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Reactive and planned maintenance across automated conveyor and sortation equipment
Fault finding on conveyors, sorters, boom conveyors and material handling systems
Working safely within control panels using electrical drawings and multi-meters
Supporting ongoing upgrade projects across controls and automation systems
Maintaining equipment reliability across a large-scale automated operation
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
An engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Previous experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or production environments
Experience working safely within electrical panels and reading electrical drawings
A proactive attitude and team-focused approach
