Machine Operator, Motherwell, £14.00 per hour, Contract, Temp to Perm, OT available at x 1.5

Responsibilities
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–5:30pm
* Potential Friday and Saturday overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate as production demands increase.
* Operate workshop machinery including cutting, drilling, bending, and fabrication equipment
* Manufacture and assemble concrete mixer components to specification
* Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
* Carry out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
* Perform quality inspections and report defects when identified
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
Requirements
* Plasma cutting experience is essential
* Previous manufacturing or workshop experience is desirable
* Experience operating machinery within a production environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Mechanical or engineering knowledge would be advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
