We're working with a well-established, industry-leading organisation within a specialist manufacturing and processing sector, currently investing in its UK operations and offering exciting opportunities for skilled engineers.
This role is based at a key production facility in Didcot. It's a hands-on position where you'll play a vital role in keeping operations safe, compliant, and running efficiently.
The Role
As an Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for:
Supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient running of the main plant and satellite sites
Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
Assisting with planned maintenance, shutdowns, and improvements
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
Troubleshooting plant issues and supporting continuous improvement
Managing spare parts and maintaining accurate records (SAP and site systems)
Providing on-call support for out-of-hours issues when required
Acting as a site representative when needed
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or recognised apprenticeship
Experience working with electrical systems in a production or industrial environment
Strong focus on health & safety
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently when required
Proactive approach with a positive, problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during shutdowns
