Our client, a leading automotive retailer in Belfast, is seeking a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to further their career within a reputable organisation. The successful Vehicle Technician will benefit from competitive remuneration, extensive training, and career progression opportunities in one of the UK’s most established automotive groups.

Benefits:

Basic salary up to £38,000, dependent on experience
OTE of approximately £41,000 with performance-related bonuses
Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus Scheme
Access to industry-leading training programmes and development pathways
Work for a nationally renowned automotive retailer with a stable history
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm), plus 1-in-3 Saturday mornings (8:30am – 12:30pm)
Opportunities to progress into more advanced technical roles
Use of state-of-the-art workshop equipment and technologyDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Repair and service a variety of vehicles to the highest standards
Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults efficiently
Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
Complete work adhering to DVSA standards and manufacturer guidelines
Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and updates
Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair in line with health and safety regulations
Utilise the latest technology and diagnostic tools to complete repairsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Technology or equivalent; applications from all experience levels are encouraged
Full UK Driving Licence, as moving vehicles is part of the role
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
