Due to continued growth and development, we are now seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our setting and support the next stage of our journey.

The role

As Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading the team, maintaining high standards of care and education, and ensuring full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

You will play a key role in shaping the learning environment, supporting staff development, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and external stakeholders.

You will take responsibility for:

* Leading and supporting the nursery team, including recruitment and staff development
* Managing the daily operations of the setting and ensuring high standards of care
* Delivering an engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environment in line with EYFS
* Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted compliance standards are maintained
* Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community
* Managing budgets, resources, and nursery administration
* Driving continuous improvement across the setting

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

* Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* Previous experience within an early years leadership or management role
* Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education

Other DESIRABLE qualities include:

* Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards)
* Degree in Early Years, Childhood Studies, or related field
* Experience preparing for or managing Ofsted inspections
* Experience within community-focused or values-led educational settings
