Area Sales Representative – Builders Merchants - Herts, Bucks, Beds area

All applicants must have a full UK driving license and relevanent expereince of working for a Builders Merchants with proven sales results!

Area Sales Representative:

To drive profitable sales growth by actively winning new business, developing key customer relationships and consistently exceeding performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction.

* Support customers with the on-boarding of their new account, ensuring that they start and continue to spend.

* Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability.

* Simplify the customer experience by ensuring close management of all owned accounts.

* Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet the customer’s needs.

* Work with all functions and branch teams to ensure that all opportunities are leveraged.

The ideal Area Sales Representative will need to be/have:

* A self-motivated salesperson with a genuine hunger to succeed.

* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

* High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and resilience.

* Strong communication and influencing skills.

* A strong commercial awareness with a winning mindset.

* Organisational skills with ability to manage your own diary.

* All applicants must have a full UK driving license.

The successful Area Sales Representative will receive:

* Retirement Savings Plan (Pension) – with Legal & General.
