I’m supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Wrexham as they expand their Drug Safety & Information function with a Drug Safety Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you’ll own end‑to‑end signal management and play a key part in ensuring patient safety across a diverse product portfolio.

The Role

As Drug Safety Executive, you’ll be a central member of the safety team, responsible for:

*

Leading and conducting all aspects of signal management — from detection through to assessment

*

Chairing product safety signalling meetings

*

Driving process improvements and consistency across safety operations

*

Applying scientific and clinical judgement to evaluate complex and sometimes conflicting safety data

The ideal candidate will have:

*

A degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences

*

Strong experience in pharmacovigilance, specifically signal management

*

In‑depth knowledge of current PV legislation and its practical application

*

Broad medical terminology and disease pathology understanding

*

Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and organisational ability

*

Confidence using a pharmacovigilance safety database
