Hays Education is recruiting experienced HLTA‑level SEN Support Assistants to work across a range of South & West London Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools through our exclusive Preferred Supplier List (PSL) contracts.These roles offer the opportunity to make a real impact in specialist settings supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs.The roleYou will be supporting children and young people within SEN and specialist provisions, including:
SEMH, ASD, PMLD, SLD and MLD settings
Small‑group and 1:1 intervention support
Assisting with differentiated learning activities
Promoting independence, engagement and positive behaviour
Working closely with class teachers, therapists and SEN teamsWhat Hays Education offers
Access to PSL‑only roles in South & West London SEN schools
Long‑term and short‑term opportunities available
Competitive daily pay rates, paid weekly
Flexible working to suit your availability
Dedicated SEN specialist consultant
Ongoing CPD, including safeguarding, behaviour support and SEN‑specific trainingRequirements
HLTA qualification or equivalent SEN experience
Previous experience in SEN or specialist education settings
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A proactive, flexible and compassionate approach
