A well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Poole is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join its skilled workshop team. This is a hands-on role offering long-term stability, varied work, and opportunities to develop within a successful engineering business.

The Role
You will be responsible for manufacturing and maintaining precision tooling, jigs, fixtures, and bespoke components to exacting quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Manufacturing jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
Operating XYZ machines.
Carrying out manual milling and turning operations.
Self-inspection of components throughout production.
Deburring, finishing, and polishing components.
Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety.What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience in manual machining.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable and self-motivated approach.
Ability to work independently and within a team.What's On Offer
