RED Global are partnering with a global organisation seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working on modern, distributed systems.

This role is focused on building and scaling Back End/API test automation frameworks, with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability, and CI/CD integration.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using Java
• Building robust API automation solutions (REST Assured) across microservices environments
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/similar)
• Collaborating closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Improving test stability, execution speed, and overall automation coverage

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience with Java-based test automation
• Hands-on API testing experience using REST Assured
• Experience working with microservices architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Experience with tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Jenkins
