MET Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Panel/MET Technician to join a reputable franchised bodyshop in Redruth, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Panel/MET Technician looking to work in a well-established, busy workshop that values quality, accuracy, and professionalism.

Basic salary of up to £49,000, with an OTE available
Monday to Friday working schedule

Hands-on role with variety and pride in high-quality workmanshipDuties:

Strip and refit vehicle components, ensuring correct removal and refit procedures
Carry out MET and panel preparation to high standards for repair and finishing stages
Perform panel work to restore vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment following all health and safety procedures
Complete tasks within job card timescales to support team productivity
Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailRequirements:

Proven experience as a Panel/MET Technician in a fast-paced accident repair or bodyshop environment
Demonstrable skills in MET and panel processes, including stripping, fitting, and panel repair
Ability to prepare vehicles to consistently high standards
Reliable work ethic with good attendance and ability to meet deadlines
Full UK manual driving licence (endorsements disclosed if applicable)
