MEICA Manager – Water Industry

A leading tier-1 engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for a MEICA Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works across a portfolio of major clean water projects.

Working across the full project lifecycle from design through to commissioning and handover, you will provide technical leadership, delivery oversight, and team management to ensure MEICA works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties for MEICA Manager

* Oversee delivery of MEICA works across multiple projects from design through to commissioning and handover

* Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, ICA and control systems delivery

* Ensure buildability of designs and promote value engineering opportunities

* Manage MEICA teams and coordinate with civil engineering and delivery teams

* Lead programme, cost, risk, and resource management across assigned projects

* Oversee procurement and performance of subcontractors and supply chain partners

* Ensure quality systems are in place, including commissioning plans, ITPs, and handover documentation

* Manage NEC contract delivery requirements, including risk and change control

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities

* Interface with clients, designers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives

Qualifications & Experience for MEICA Manager

* Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)

* Proven experience in a MEICA Project Manager, MEICA Manager, or Senior Delivery role within the water or regulated infrastructure sector

* Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and framework delivery

* Knowledge of WIMES standards and water industry compliance requirements

* SMSTS, CSCS, EUSR (desirable)
