We are looking for a skilled and customer focused Plumber to join our Property Services team, delivering high quality repairs, maintenance, and installation works across our social housing stock. You’ll play a key role in ensuring residents live in safe, comfortable homes by providing efficient and reliable plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities

*

Carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks, including:

*

Reactive repairs to leaks, blockages, and domestic pipework

*

Installation and repair of taps, toilets, baths, showers, and sinks

*

Hot and cold water system maintenance

*

Drainage repairs and unblocking

*

Radiator and heating system repairs (non gas tasks unless qualified)

*

Complete responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void property works.

*

Diagnose plumbing issues on site and determine the most effective repair solution.

*

Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, safety standards, and organisational procedures.

*

Maintain accurate job records using handheld devices or job sheets.

*

Work respectfully in occupied homes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

*

Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and other trades to deliver a seamless service.

*

Follow all health and safety requirements, including safe use of tools and equipment.

*

Represent the organisation professionally at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic environments.

*

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).

*

Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.

*

Good understanding of water regulations and general building safety.

*

Full UK driving licence (company vehicle will be provided)
