Looking for your next step in heavy commercial truck sales?
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Commercial Sales Executive covering Devon and Cornwall, offering a competitive basic salary and excellent earning potential. You will be based in Exeter and travel across Devon and Cornwall to build relationships, secure new business, and support existing customers.

Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000
Attractive OTE of £60,000 (uncapped)
Carried out from Exeter with regular travel across Devon and Cornwall

Supportive team culture and clear routes to progressionDuties of the Commercial Sales Executive:
Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with existing heavy goods vehicle customers
Achieve set sales targets and drive performance against KPIs
Conclude sales contracts, ensuring all required amendments are handled correctly and promptly
Manage orders on hand and oversee order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Carry out follow-up activity with customers and prospects, maintaining and managing a thorough customer file
Keep the customer database up to date and ensure information is accurate for reporting as a Commercial Sales ExecutiveRequirements of the Commercial Sales Executive:
Proven experience in truck sales is essential, and van sales experience will be considered
Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting targets
Commercial awareness and the confidence to manage opportunities from initial contact through to contract conclusion
Ability to produce accurate and punctual weekly and monthly reports
Organised approach to managing orders, customer records, and ongoing follow-ups
