Job Title: Supply Planning & Procurement Manager
Location: Warminster - Hybrid - 3 days a week
Package: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE) Healthcare, Life Assurance, Pension 6% Contribution, Wellbeing & Support Workshops, Holidays 25 Days + Stats
Hours: 37.5 - Monday to Friday - Flexible on start and finish times
About the Role
You will lead our end-to-end supply planning and procurement activities in this pivotal role with responsibility for ensuring the optimal availability of raw materials while balancing service levels, cost, waste, and working capital.
You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and NPD teams, aligning supply plans with business demand, building strong supplier partnerships, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence business performance through strategic planning, supplier management, and data-led decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, own, and manage supply plans aligned to demand forecasts and production schedules.
* Ensure the timely availability of raw materials to meet customer and operational requirements.
* Monitor and optimise inventory levels, balancing customer service, waste reduction, and working capital objectives.
* Lead weekly and monthly planning cycles, including stock reviews, forecast alignment, and supply planning meetings.
* Oversee the allocation of raw materials to maximise financial performance while meeting operational priorities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply, service, and performance.
* Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, covering key performance indicators, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
* Support supplier onboarding and compliance processes in partnership with Supplier Assurance teams.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier risks within an increasingly complex and volatile supply environment.
* Drive supplier collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support new product launches through effective procurement and supply planning activities.
* Provide insight and recommendations regarding supply risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on key metrics including OTIF, inventory performance, supplier performance, and service levels.
* Drive continuous improvement through data-led decision-making and process optimisation.
* Set clear priorities and ensure workloads are effectively managed across the team.
Skills & Experience
You will be an experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in supply planning, procurement, and supplier management, gained within a fast-paced environment. You will possess excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance. A strong commercial mindset and understanding of supply chain cost drivers are essential, alongside proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
You will have strong systems expertise, including ERP and planning systems such as SAP, as well as advanced Excel capability. Experience building and developing supplier relationships across multiple international markets is required, together with an appreciation of cultural differences, business practices, and organisational structures across global supply bases. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and negotiator with strong problem-solving skills, capable of influencing stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and delivering results in a dynamic and changing environment.
