KS2 SEN Teacher – Autism Provision | Lambeth
Salary: £206–£260 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Lambeth, South London
Contract: Full-time | Long-term to Permanent

At Pertemps Education, we are proud to be partnering with a highly supportive and well-resourced autism provision in Lambeth to recruit an exceptional KS2 SEN Teacher.
This specialist setting supports primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated communication and learning needs. The provision offers small class sizes, excellent staffing ratios, and access to a multidisciplinary team, creating an environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially. Lambeth is home to a number of specialist autism resource bases and provisions designed to support pupils with EHCPs and autism diagnoses.
The Role
As the KS2 SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment that promotes communication, independence, and positive behaviour
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals
Develop and review EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Use autism-friendly strategies, visual supports, and sensory-informed approaches to maximise pupil engagement
Assess, monitor, and celebrate pupil progress across academic, social, and emotional outcomesThe Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching KS2 pupils, ideally within an SEN or autism-focused setting
Demonstrates a strong understanding of autism and inclusive teaching practices
Is patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child achieve their potential
Can build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Has excellent classroom management and communication skillsWhat the School Offers
