Site Services Manager

Lincolnshire £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Most engineering roles keep the factory running.
This one keeps the entire site alive.
I'm working with a major UK food manufacturer looking for a Site Services Manager to take ownership of critical utilities, infrastructure and compliance across a high-volume production facility.
If you're the person who understands that steam, refrigeration, water treatment, HVAC, electrical systems and statutory compliance aren't support functions but business-critical operations, keep reading.

The Opportunity

You'll lead a specialist Site Services team responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all utilities and engineering services across the site.
This is a role with genuine responsibility. You'll be the go-to expert for critical systems, contractor management, compliance, planned maintenance, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll also play a key role in capital projects, business continuity planning and driving operational performance across the wider site.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Managing site utilities including steam, HVAC, water treatment, gas and electrical systems
Leading planned preventative maintenance activities
Ensuring compliance with key legislation and engineering standards
Managing contractors and specialist service providers
Driving energy reduction and continuous improvement projects
Managing budgets, maintenance spend and capital investment projects
Leading investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
Developing and coaching a high-performing Site Services team

What We're Looking For

You'll likely come from a food manufacturing, FMCG, processing, utilities or other highly regulated industrial environment.
You'll bring:

NEBOSH General Certificate
Strong knowledge of statutory engineering compliance
Experience managing utilities and critical infrastructure
Knowledge of pressure systems, legionella, ammonia and confined spaces
Proven leadership experience within engineering or facilities operations
The ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys balancing technical expertise, compliance, people leadership and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
