Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Role: Part-Time - 2 days per week
Are you a passionate Maths Teacher/Maths Tutor seeking a rewarding role where you can transform lives, build confidence and support young people towards independence and employment?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher/Maths Tutor to join our Internship Programme in Aylesbury.
Working with young adults aged 18-25 who have additional learning needs, you will deliver engaging, personalised Maths and Functional Skills learning that helps learners develop the skills they need for everyday life and future employment.

The Role:
As our Maths Teacher/Maths Tutor, you will:
Design and deliver an engaging Maths curriculum tailored to individual learner needs
Teach learners working from Entry Level 2 through to Level 2
Deliver accredited and non-accredited learning programmes, including RARPA-based provision
Develop and deliver a Basic Skills programme covering:
Budgeting
Money management
Financial independence
Everyday numeracy skills
Create schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources (LTPs, MTPs and STPs)
Suitable Candidates:
Essential
Experience teaching Maths in an SEN, SEND or inclusive learning environment
Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching practices
Ability to engage and motivate learners with a range of learning needs
Experience developing schemes of work and teaching resources
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, flexible and learner-focused approachDesirable
Experience delivering Pearson and/or Ascentis qualifications
Knowledge of RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement)
Experience supporting young adults preparing for employment and independent living
