House Size: 2 Bed Home (One Child Placed)
Salary: £46,331 - £52,123 per annum + 10% discretionary bonus

Candidate Requirements
Level 4 Children and Young People Practitioner Qualification (England), SCQF Level 7/HNC (Scotland), or Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
Minimum 2 years' experience within the last 5 years in children's residential care
Minimum 1 year's experience within the last 5 years leading or supervising staff in a residential care setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (England) or SCQF Level 10 Care Services Leadership & Management (Scotland)
Exceptional understanding of safer recruitment practices
Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
Full UK driving licence
Knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting (desirable)
Qualified or working towards Level 5/SCQF Level 10 Leadership & Management qualification (desirable)
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a residential childcare team
Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for young people
Drive positive outcomes for children and young people aged 8–18
Oversee safeguarding practices and regulatory compliance
Manage and develop staff performance and wellbeing
Work collaboratively with senior leadership and the in-house psychology team
Maintain high standards of care and service delivery
Support the home's development and continuous improvement
Ensure effective care planning and implementation
