TXM Recruit are currently seeking skilled Shift Engineers with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join an established team at a site based in Oldham.
In this role, you will be responsible for the rapid response to mechanical and electrical faults, as well as maintaining and optimising high-speed print production equipment.
Salary: £45,000 – £48,000
Working Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (2 days, 2 nights)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a rapid response to mechanical and electrical failures.
* Carry out structured maintenance schedules to ensure long-term machine reliability.
* Identify technical bottlenecks and develop SOPs to improve equipment performance.
* Accurately record all tasks and asset history using the CMMS system.
Benefits

* Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a time-served apprenticeship.
* Experience: Proven background within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Technical Skills: Strong fault-finding ability, preventative maintenance expertise, and structured problem-solving skills.
* IT Skills: Competent in CMMS systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
