Site Engineer

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major civil engineering project, with marine experience preferred, although candidates with a strong general civils background will also be considered.

The role operates on a 12 days on, 2 days off rotation, working 7:00am – 7:00pm shifts. Tier One contractor experience is highly desirable, however candidates with experience working for reputable civil engineering subcontractors will also be considered.

Transport support is available, with collection from the airport or ferry terminal provided, and site vehicles available for use throughout the project.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

* Toolbox talks

* Client liaison

* Health and safety compliance

* Setting out for civil engineering works

* Supervising subcontractors and site activities

* Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

* Managing QA documentation and as-built records

* Assisting with surveys and resolving technical issues

* Supporting site management with day-to-day engineering duties

Site Engineer Requirements:

* Black or Gold CSCS

* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on marine or civil engineering projects

* Marine experience preferred, however a strong general civils background will also be considered

* Tier One contractor experience preferred, although strong subcontractor experience will also be considered

* Strong setting out and surveying experience

* IT literate

* Full UK driving licence
