Cleaning Supervisor

Canterbury Permanent Monday – Friday | 3:30pm – 7:30pm £16.00 per hour

We are currently looking for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis, overseeing cleaning operations at a busy secondary education site in Canterbury.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking to step into a supervisory role, or an existing supervisor seeking a stable part-time position with a supportive employer.

Duties Include:

* Supervising and supporting a team of cleaners to ensure high standards are maintained

* Carrying out cleaning duties alongside the team when required

* Completing regular quality checks and ensuring all areas are cleaned to specification

* Managing stock levels and ensuring cleaning materials are used safely and correctly

* Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns promptly

* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

* Assisting with training and supporting team members where needed

Requirements:

* Previous commercial cleaning experience

* Supervisory experience within cleaning or facilities would be advantageous

* Reliable, organised and able to lead by example

* Good communication skills and a strong eye for detail

* Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures preferred

* Enhanced DBS desirable, although this can be arranged for the successful candidate
