Inspire EHC are delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary special school in Southend-on-Sea supporting pupils aged 11–16 with EHCPs.

We are currently seeking caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join the school’s bank team, offering flexible work to fit around you—with the exciting potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities for the right person.

The role

As a Bank SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, learning difficulties, and communication needs

Work closely with teachers and therapists to provide individualised support

Help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

Build strong, meaningful relationships with pupils to support their development

What we’re looking for

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential
