Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant looking for flexible, part-time work to fit around your studies?
Do you have a passion for supporting young children in a nursery setting?
Are you reliable, adaptable, and confident stepping into different childcare environments on a day-to-day basis?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming private day nurseries across York, all of which provide nurturing and stimulating environments for children in their early years. These settings are ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience while supporting children’s development through play-based learning.
TeacherActive are looking to take on proactive Early Years Assistants on a flexible, part-time, day-to-day basis. The successful Early Years Assistants will be supporting across various nursery settings, working with children from babies to pre-school age, assisting with daily routines and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment.
The successful Early Years Assistant will have:
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
• A basic understanding of the EYFS framework
• Ability to adapt to different nursery environments
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
