Talentmark are recruiting for a Haemostasis Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company.

This role will be based at their site in Sunderland and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.

The Role

To support the Haemostasis Product Group with Product Validation Projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform lab-based haemostasis testing, ensuring completion of projects in a timely manner.
Support planning and implementation of each project including evaluation protocols, scheduling and material and resource requirements.
Collaborate with purchasing departments to procure project materials and manage stock.
Routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
Work in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines when handling reagents and chemicals used in automated and manual techniques.
Essential Skills:

BSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.
Experience with GLP (good laboratory practice) in and industry setting and sound knowledge/interest in Haemostasis.
Competent in the use of the Internet and Microsoft Windows programs including Word, Excel Power Point, and other statistical analysis software.
Competent mathematician and statistician.
